Negative: Our room was on the last floor, the heating was unsatisfactory. We have caught cold.

Positive: This hotel is basic but has everything that you need. We had a double room, it was small but ther was a comfy bed, a place to hang your clothes, a TV with a number of channels, (one even in English) and a compact bathroom that even has a bath and a good shower provided. The room was clean and we were provided with clean towels daily. The breakfast again was basic, a selection of cereals, croissants, french bread, yoghurts, jams and compotes. Tea, coffee and juice was also available. Although it was basic, it was more than enough to satify you until lunch. Obviously it was not the lap of luxury, but it was good value and a pleasant place to stay.

Negative: None really, better than I expected for the price and proximity to attractions. The local area surrounding the hotel is a little rough around the edges, nothing especially dangerous or anything to worry about.

Outside: The hotel is very close to the metro and within easy access of all Paris' main attractions.
