Positive: location to termini, nice african restaurant not far

Negative: Whats to say???? Its basically a pile of s**** if you get put on the 2nd or 3rd floor, refuse to even enter the room. ask for the 4th or 5th floor. was put in 206, next to the reception, you may as well set up your pillow on the check in desk. at 5am, a gang of drunk italians came back to their room, and the waffer thin walls may as well let me be in their room with them and make donkey and cow noises along with them. on the door of each floor is a sign saying please keep your tv to a minimum after 10pm, although this room was by the recption desk and these drunks had theirs on full blast and nothing was said to them. Then at 7am, the loudest woman in the world started work, (also the fattest) she was too lazy to get off her ar$e to go talk to the cleaner, so the pair of them barked orders from where they were, may as well have had a conversation over my bed. it got the point that my girlfriend had had enough, got up, went out and said move us now, with a death stare that no one could look at without turning to stone, but it did the trick. we were moved to the 5th floor, this was quiet, and we actually got 3 more decent nights sleep. although the view was of an old shed on the roof. The first room wasnt cleaned when we got there, there was a pube on the fresh toilet roll and there was toothpaste in the plastic cups provided in broken seeled wrapping (so obviously re-used). Didn?t try the food as mainly couldn?t be bothered staying in this place for anymore time than I had to, and if it was anything like the rest of the service they provided?..it would be dog poo on toast. Stayed in Florence, siena, and viareggio, and all rooms where around the same prices and lovely, but this was the pits. on check out, at 6:30 (checked out early to catch a flight) the guy on the 3rd floor reception (for overnight opening of the main door) had the tv on so loud it emulated a light aircraft taking off, so god knows how anyone on that floor slept. Me personnally would have put his head through the tv if it was on that loud. all in all, if you want cheap, then stay here, but theres other better places for the same prices, and without the trauma. or pay an extra £10 a night and stay else where.

Outside: half recent restaurants, close to the main station, a bit dodgy at night if you've not got your wits about you. Dont go with a partner here, play it safe instead. suppose its ok if your travelling alone or your prepared to demand to be moved / request a decent sleep
