Value for money was excellent.

Positive: The value for money was fantastic. The breakfast and evening meal were excellent. The pool looked good but it was in January and to cold to use. The bar was good and the price of beer reasonable.

Negative: The first room we went into was dated and needs refurbing. The aircon/heating failed so we had to move rooms. The second room was better.

Outside: Marjella Gardens within 10 minutes walk. The location of the hotel for me was superb. I could walk safely to all the areas of interest.

change money at the post office best rate.don't trust anyone offering you advie directions etc as they are after a fee if taking taxi watch metre if possible have correct fare they ers swins at over cahrging big time the tourist office near the hotel is very helpful

Positive: staff really helpful great free safe clean towels and sheets daily- pool a real assest- although in new part of town only takes about 15-20 mins to walk to everywhere of interest.

Outside: the mirelle gardens -great on a hot day. lots of places to drink and watch life go by.

A great palce to visit.Go! and dont be put off by horror stories. Everyone we encountered was nice and helpful. If you get lost, just ask directions from anyone, they are all keen to help. Its not that big a place really. It helps to speak French, but you will usually find someone who speaks a few words of English. Avoid eating in the main square resturaunts, they are overpriced and really busy. But do eat at the night market, its really tasty, exciting and good value. In the souks, offer less than a quarter of the asking price` They will generallt take a quarter!

Positive: A pleasant hotel which is good value for money. A lovely small terrace area with medium sized pool. - unheated, though,so very cold in April. Wine availiable in the resturaunt, a dingy bar on ground floor, which seemed to sell beer and spirits. Food very plentiful, breakfast was bread, jams, eggs and yoghurt, evening meals were either buffet (if few people were staying) and serviced 3 courses - soup, main and fruit (if tour groups were staying.) Not a lot of choice for vegetarians, though. An omelette was regularly served instead of meat.Rooms small but adequate, with bathrooms. Well placed to reach Jemma ef Na. Buses from one block down go straight there. Staff pleasant, especially the resturaunt staff.

Negative: Nothing negative really, - nothing to do at night there, you would have to leave the hotel. Families with teenagers might find it a bit boring, - my children did, but at least we all went to bed early.

Outside: The Majorelle gardens are a 10 minute walk, very beautifull and well worth a visit, but go early as it gets overwhelmed by tour groups. The Baddi palace is also recommended, hardly anyone goes there and the ruins are very atmospheric. Take a day trip out of the city if you can, we went to Seti Fatma, which is in the foothills of the Atlas mountains. A really strenuous climb to see some waterfalls, but really fun and worth doing. Some good places to eat near the Hotel, the Jazzo cafe is particularly nice. A meal for 4 with drinks is about 200 dh, so not particularly cheap.

Positive: It was very nice time. I was happy with the quality of the service. I will definitely recommend the place to others.

Outside: There were some coffees next to the hotel and big super market walking distance from the hotel. Also, very convinient bus transfer to the airport.

In general a very good Hotel for the frugal and modest traveller. The location is good and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Positive: Very good value for money. The food was good but the breakfast was the same every day and very simple. The room was clean and everything worked. The bed was very good and they even had a German TV channnel. Staff was very friendly and spoke English.

Negative: My room was to the street which was very noisy. Also the towels were a problem. The bathroom was clean but very old probably from the 50s.
