We were half board for 4 nights but found it really odd when we were the only two eating every night. No choice of menu - it was edible except for the last night! Breakfast was continental around the pool which was really cold and only one morning was there a cold buffet breakfast otherwise no choice yet again. We assumed that the evening meals were cooked specially for us but were very disappointed there was no choice. We wouldn´t stay there again.

Positive: Good location - the price was right - it was clean.

Negative: The receptionist was surly and didn´t offer any information about anything and found it hard to give up any information even when asked. Not the job she should have been doing! The rest of the staff were very helpful and pleasant. The receptionist was very out of order when she reprimanded one of the male staff in front of me and he was very embarrassed. Wouldn´t recommend anyone to stay there.

Outside: Very good location for the cheap local bus service to the Place Jemma el Fna which stopped outside the hotel. The airport bus dropped us off outside the Rail Station which was just round the corner to the hotel.

Positive: All members of staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. For the price, there is little to quibble about. Rooms were cleaned each day. Towels were replaced daily, along with constant supply of soaps and shampoo. Meals are varied and adequate.

Negative: Would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in the room and a fridge. Some fruit at breakfast would be good.

Outside: Very close to the magnificent building that is Marrakech Train Station. Take a day trip to Casablanca, or overnight to Fez. Walk or take a taxi to Jamaa Fna. Plenty of restaurants and shops en route.

Positive: The porters and the man in the restaurant were very helpful and lovely. Good location, close to information centre, tourist bus, fast food. Rooms were cleaned well each day.

Negative: The reception was poor. The girl at the counter offered no help, no information, told us nothing about getting around Marrakech. We asked for a map and she told us nothing. Often noone at reception. The restaurant was closed two nights that we were there and we couldn´t find anywhere to eat that was close by and again, noone could tell us anything. There was no information in the rooms eg restaurant times, prices, tourist attractions, etc

Positive: This is my 3rd stay at Hotel Corail. Staff are excellent, and the services very good. If travelling on by train then it's ideally located.

Negative: The breakfast is unfortunately poor, the orange juice and tea are watered down, the dining room was again cold. A hot breakfast would have been appreciated..
