This welcoming hotel is located right in the tourist centre, within metres of the famous Promenade des Anglais, with plenty of shopping and entertainment venues. The pedestrianised Rue de France and Rue Massena are also in the vicinity of the hotel. The nearest public transport links and the beach are only one street from the hotel, around 50 metres away. The airport is only a short drive from the hotel. Built in 1929 and renovated in 2005, this charming budget hotel offers a total of 16 rooms. It has a lobby with a reception desk and a hotel safe available. Guests may take advantage of the complimentary Internet access (WLAN) and luggage storage. Guests may park their cars in the nearby car park for an additional fee. All the rooms come with an en suite bathroom, a TV and fridge. All rooms are fitted with central heating and a safe as standard. An iron and ironing board are also available on request from reception. In addition, Internet access is offered at no extra charge. Wif fi in every room is free. Guests are offered beach mats for the beach. The hotel organises various excursions for guests. From the airport, the best way to reach the hotel is to take the tramway to Alsace Lorraine, from there it is only a 5minute walk. If arriving by train: it is just a ten-minute walk from the train station. Out of the station cross over the road and walk to the right until reach a red brick building, which is the post office. Turn left down this street called Rue Gounod which becomes Rue Meyerbeer as it gets closer to the sea.

Positive: Location Good. Room clean but basic. Staff very friendly and helpful. This hotel is more suited to young people rather than pensioners.

Negative: No lift and lot of street noise.

Outside: Good shops, restaurants etc. very close to promenade.

We enjoyed our stay and would come back next time

Positive: Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bed linen and towels etc very clean

Negative: some broken bits of furniture in the room

Outside: Very well situated for the old town and the beach .

Positive: Friendly staff, verry good distence between the beach en the center of Nice and the train station. free internet all the day.

Negative: Breakfast is verry poor, verry noisy rooms at street site, this is not a hotel but more a youthhostel. Verry verry smal bathroom (shower, toilet, 2 m²)
