Positive: Good localization, very close to the Central Station (05 minutes walking)
Negative: In the first night, the guy in the reception cannot understand / talk English. Fortunatelly I tried Spanish and then the communication happened
Outside: Not good things to go on foot. By taxi, a smalll journey of 10 minutes can leave you at the Castle and the big commercial center

Positive: The location is excellent, the Centrale FS train Station is close, so the Metro lines are easy to get to. There are few park houses around, so the car has a place for the night. The hotel itself is a nice one, I'm ok with the 4-star rating./

Positive: Foyer was very impressive making the hotel seem very good quality.
Negative: Room was very dark with 'view' of roof and extractor fan. Mould around bath. Staff came and cleaned our room while we were having breakfast. As we were leaving the same day we had not finished using the room so I guess they either had to clean it again or the next guest had a 'used' room ! Breakfast waiter did not speak to us and made no attempt to show guests what was available. NOT A 4* HOTEL.
Outside: Quite near main railway station.

In my opinion, not a real 4-star hotel. I would not recommend it to anyone, but this was not an option on your questionnaire!

Positive: The hotel lobby was elegant and the hotel itself was quite close to the train station.
Negative: The hotel had all this modern technology but NONE of it worked and made my stay difficult. The hotel had electronic key cards for the doors which only worked about half the time. The air conditioning in the room had 4 dials and buttons necessary to make it function and in the end it did not work, the room was overwhelmingly hot. The phone in the room did not work. The internet in the room was a frustrating experience. One could only log in for one hour, then had to go downstairs to the front counter and pay for another hour and get a new password and a new log in. It could not be done from the room, nor online and it was so frustrating to lose whatever document I was working on at the end of each hour when the internet connection timed out (with no warning). The shower was broken and then door fell off the hinges when I tried to close it. But above all, the room was the smallest I have ever been in. I have stayed in the heart of New York city and in Tokyo and the rooms were not as small as this. I would estimate that the entire room was 6 feet by 9 feet (I could touch all the walls while lying in the bed), there was not even room for a closet or anywhere to store my suitcase.
Outside: Not much in the immediate neighborhood.
