Positive: Pool on the roof is great. Cleaning staff have the best customer service of everybody working in the hotel.
Negative: Booked a room with a balcony and was given a room underground! Staff need huge amounts of training - very unhelpful and unwilling to solve problems. There always seemed to be a queue after breakfast at reception with people demanding different rooms and cockroaches are a big problem for this hotel. The first thing we did when we opened the room door was kill a couple of them.
Outside: Hotel is in a good location for ferry to Gozo and boat trips and beach. There was plenty of free parking down the hill for the hire car and it's easy to drive to Paceville and Valetta.
