Overall opinion: excellent value for money.
Positive: Excellently located just outside of the pleasant village and beach of Carvoeiro. Lovelly sea views from everywhere in Hotel.10 mintue walk to great beach.Tennis court, inside pool and Gym.
Negative: Pool small, Gym tiny.
Outside: Golf 5 minute drive away,Beach 10 minute walk away,busy village of Carvoeiro that has 30 odd restaurants/Bars and it's own beach.

Positive: we have stayed in the Hotel Cristal many times & although the hotel ownership has changed we still felt very much at home. Staff were very kind & courteous at all all times. we had no complaints. a most enjoyable stay.
Negative: nil.
Outside: Golf. beaches, restaurants all within walking distance of the hotel. wonderful coastal scenery.

Very clean hotel. Breakfast needs to be a bit more varied each day. Rooms quite old fashioned but clean. Kettle would be nice in room. A good quality 3 star hotel...not really 4. Would return again though.

Food mark relates to breakfast only (I didn't have any evening meals). Cold foods good, but hot foods not so. Toaster takes about 10minutes. When I asked the staff if they had any other toasters, they apologised, and said that this one was very old but was all they had. This my second stay here in two months.

Positive: I think this was our 15th visit to the Hotel Cristal. We particulary enjoy the friendly atmosphere of the hotel. The staff are extremely pleasant & the hotel very clean.
Negative: The bathrooms require a little updating.
Outside: Many lovely beaches in the area along with excellent walks. Lots of restaurants in Carvoeiro
